Ginger Walker grew up on a cattle ranch in southwestern Wyoming, spending a lot of time outdoors herding cattle and observing wildlife. Her background created a passion for both western art and wildlife art.
Ginger works primarily in colored pencils and oils, and also enjoys painting on location in the plein air style. She has visited many different countries where she has painted extensively, including Australia, Italy, Argentina and Africa - where she painted on leather from elephant ears.
Ginger now spends her time between Wyoming and Texas, continuing her love of wildlife and western art. She has been a member of the CTAA since 2007. Her work can be seen on her website: www.artbyginger.com.
