Rita Rae Dyer specializes in dry-brush watercolor, oil portraits and landscapes, but she also does photography and mixed media. Holding numerous state and national awards, Rita's work is displayed in private collections in Texas, Kansas, Colorado, Alaska and various other states - as well as in Romania, Japan, China, Germany, the Netherlands, Israel, France, England and Canada.
Rita has studied under Ronald Thomason, Jack Bryant, Renne Hughes, and Olga Sears of the Museum of Fine Art in Boston. She has a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and has taught private lessons and in private schools for over twenty years. She currently is involved in commission sales, logo design and private instruction near her home in southern Wise County.
