Dr. Jesse Coulson came to Texas in 1971 to attend the University of North Texas, where he obtained an M.S. degree in Clinical Plychology and an Ed. D in College Teaching/Psychology. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice in Bowie, and has been a Counselor for over 40 years. An ordained minister, Jesse also has a degree in Practical Theology from Life Pacific College, a minor degree in religion from Fresno Pacific University and has studied at Perkins Theological Seminary at SMU.
Jesse has been a photographer since his teens. He began selling his photos about twenty years ago at model train hobby shows and at craft fairs. Until recently, he specialized mainly in railroading as a subject matter, but he now has expanded his subjects to include landscapes, animal life, and western ranch life. Jesse also is a published poet, who has begun paintings in oils as well as making jewelry.
He joined the CTAA in 2011 and was named "Artist of the Month" in May of that year. He is also a member of the Bowie Alliance for Arts and Education.
