Jesse's photograph "Lupin on Lake Siljian Sweden" was taken in the Dalama Region of Sweden near Tallberg on Midsommer Day, June 21st, 2012. Lupin is everywhere in June all throughout Sweden, and is related to our Texas Bluebonnets.

May "Artist of the Month" - Gale Cochran-Smith Gale's photograph "Tom Tom" was taken on her ranch in rural Montague county. Wild turkeys in spring mating plumage are an endless source of entertainment as "ranch TV". The males puff up their chests and boom, while dragging the tips of their wings on the ground. Their tails spread out to a beautiful fan, and their wattles change from pink to bright red.
Gale has been a member of CTAA since 2007, and has held the office of Vice President or President since 2009. In addition to photography, Gale works in watercolor and pastels. June "Artist of the Month" - Jan Reid
Jan's acrylic painting "Homeward" depicts a scene in Wyoming. Her strong use of color and texture wonderfully bring this scene to life.
