Jan works primarily in acrylic, creating wonderful paintings of sights and scenes she finds meaningful. She also creates three-dimensional paintings and sculpted crosses that capture her faith and beliefs.

June 2010 "Artist of the Month" Gale Cochran-Smith
Gale's watercolor painting "Alone" is of a little boy running away from home. The painting was done for the benefit of the Montague County Child Welfare Board and proceeds from any print sales will go to benefit the MCCWB.
