January 12th: Annual business meeting to plan the year's events and presentations, etc. All members and non-members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
February 9th: Field Trip! The Dog Days Studio and Gallery in Nocona will host the CTAA. Beginning at 6:00pm, Jeanne Crabtree will host a gallery tour and presentation of the art work displayed in the gallery, including work by area artists Paula Henson, Jeff Chokas and herself. The gallery is located at 1293 W Hwy 82, on the west side of Nocona (south side of the highway, next to Womack Ag Services).
April 12th:Michelle Torrezpresents her Vivid and Expressive Style of Oil Painting
May 10th: Field Trip! Marsha Hofbauer's MARS STUDIO in Saint Jo will host the CTAA. Beginning at 6:00pm, Marsha will host a tour of her working studio and talk about her work in steel, bronze, concrete and clay. The gallery is located at 2023 FM 2953, north of Saint Jo and Bonita (940-966-3385).
June 14th:Ann Ayrespresents her bronze sculptures and cowgirl art.
July 12th: Nancy Standlee presents her colorful and thought-provoking collages.
August 9th: Field Trip! Gale Cochran-Smith presents a "come and go" watercolor demonstration and a tour of her studio, north of Bowie, from 5:00pm to 8:30pm. Address: 6683 FM 1806 (940-872-2517). [see map]
September 13th: Member "Show and Tell". Free-form discussion of tips, challenges, and ideas from our members.
October 11th: Video Presentation: "Painting Light: The Cape School Method with Camille Przewodek". It will change the way you see color!
November 8th: Ken MacFarlane presents the dramatic art of scratchboard.
