The
CTAA meets the second Thursday of each month, usually in the Chisholm
Trail Room at Ozona Bank in Bowie, Texas (1301 Hwy 59 N) - or at various
locations announced in advance on this website and via monthly email
newsletter to our members.
Prior to each meeting we host a "meet
and greet" starting at 5:30pm so folks can mingle and exchange ideas and
experiences. Each meeting typically begins at 6:00pm and is followed
at 6:30pm by a presentation or demonstration from a local area artist
who specializes in a particular medium, subject, or style - or someone
working in the field of art. Field trips in lieu of regular meetings
are also a possibility, so check this website for current information
about each meeting.
Each meeting an "Artist of the Month" is
chosen, with the honorees featured each month in the area newspapers as
well as per quarter in this website.
