Gerri Bauhaus Williams graduated from Scripps College in California with a design major and a history minor, and did her graduate work at California State College at Los Angeles, obtaining her teaching credentials in 1970. She taught painting at the Torrance School District in Adult Education, and was President of the Pacific Arts group.
She traveled to Bangkok, Thailand with her husband, a journalist for the Los Angeles Times. She had a one woman watercolor show in Bangkok, and exhibited in numerous group show while living there. She established BAG (Bangkok Arts Group), the first multinational art organization in Bangkok.
After returning to California, she studied computer graphics. Now that Gerri has retired to Texas, she has focused on her mixed media watercolors and teaching. She is a member of the Gainesville Area Visual Artists Association
