After 27 years as a successful, award-winning portrait and wedding photographer, Larry G. Lemons began a new career as a professional artist.  Once described by a gentleman in Stephenville as "Texas Pop," Larry's style of bold colors and symmetrical design elements in oils capture Texas in a most unusual manner.  In addition to pursuing his own personal art projects, Larry shares his love for art through teaching, both privately and in the public school system.  Larry was nominated for the 2009 Texas State Artist.  He also is an author, publishing several books  -"The Texas Weedeater Massacre", "A Benchwarmer Remembers", and "Adventures in Art!".  His work can be seen at a number of galleries and shops throughout Texas, as well as in private collections all over the U.S. and on his website:
